During the short time Morgan lived in the apartment we were lucky enough to use this beautiful bassinet my mom purchased for just $5 a few years ago. It's amazing how quickly Morgan grew out of it!!

Morgan is such a sweetheart and we can't get enough of her! I love dressing her up and seeing all of her different facial expressions and how her personality is developing.
We spent our last days together playing Monopoly Deal, helping each other pack and went to Happy Donuts for a late night run.
We got the staples: donut holes, old fashioned cake, twists, maple bars and of course the chocolate cake with sprinkles.
It was really difficult to say goodbye to our family and neighbors. Our plan is to buy a HUGE house and live in it together OR get a nice home that has a guest house attached to it so we can be neighbors and have our kids play together.
We will miss you so much but can't wait to see you at Christmas time. We love you!!
We put my drums into my parents storage unit and I had one final time playing them before we cleaned them and wrapped them up for the next few years. I have been playing for 12 years now and I have had so much fun doing so. The peak of my playing was with Stanley Baines/Citizen after I graduated from BYU and moved back home.
The day before we left we visited Grandma in Los Altos. She gave Morgan a blue elephant snuggle that she loves! She slept with it on most of the drive out to Illinois.
Grandma had a great time with Morgan and she couldn't get over how quickly Morgan was growing. I can't believe the next time we see her Morgan will be crawling around!!My mom and I spent time going through boxes of infant clothes she kept and we found this adorable bonnett she made for my sisters and I when we were kids. So cute!
Kristine Taylor got married over our last weekend. I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid and had so much fun with her! She looked gorgeous and the food was delicious. Congratulations Kristine and Hunter!
We enjoyed a delicious Sunday dinner with my parents. Before dinner was served my Mom and I took some pictures of Morgan in our backyard. I love the one of my Mom sticking Morgan on the rooster. Our neighbor left the rooster on my moms porch as a joke. :)
Goodbye Palo Alto, we will see you this Christmas!

That has to be rough saying goodbye. We are excited for your new Chicago adventure and look forward to meeting sweet Morgan soon!
