Spring Break - Grandpa Richard & The Lees visit

We were spoiled this spring break because we were lucky enough to have both Westin's dad and our good friends Scott and Cecilie Lee visit over our week and a half break.

Westin finished up his exams half-way through finals week which worked out perfectly because the Lees came just in time to celebrate! We took them all over the city with Cecilie being six months pregnant and gave not only a tour of the town but a preview of parenthood!

Visiting the Field Museum

Westin, Morgan and Scott in front of a dinosaur named Sue

A gorgeous view of the city, sunny but still cold!

This sums up Morgans spring break, so tired!

Tour of Wrigley Field

First time to Wrigley Field, but definitely not the last!

My father-in-law came for his first visit to the cold windy city. We were lucky enough to have him for an entire week. We took him around our stomping grounds, but also visited Springfield and Nauvoo.

Walking around Northwestern campus

In front of the Bean!

Such a unique piece of art!

In the flats of Nauvoo learning about the history of our pioneer ancestors.

Nothing better to put you to sleep then an oxen ride.

Reading one of her favorite books, mainly because she loves to rip out the pages!

  1. I can't believe how cold it looks during your spring break pics in Chicago, so cool that Westin's pops was able to visit for so long. How special.
